Professional Biography
Dr Nield began her medical career as a nurse, graduating from Queen’s University with a BNSc. She worked in Moose Factory, ON, for one and a half years and then worked as an ICU nurse at the Health Sciences Complex, St. John’s, Nfld. She continued nursing part time during her first few years of medical school. This background has enabled her to be not only a skilled physician, but, one with the bedside manner and caring touch of a nurse.

Dr Nield was awarded her fellowship in dermatology by the Royal College in 1989 and became a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology in the same year. She opened her practice in Woodbridge in 1990.

Dr Nield drives innovation in her field. She was the first dermatologist in Vaughan to offer cosmetic procedures such as leg vein injections, Botox®, Injectable fillers, chemical peels, laser resurfacing, photorejuvenation, mesotherapy and Acthyderm® treatments for cellulite and facial rejuvenation.

Dr Nield makes it a priority to continue her medical education so she can keep up with the latest innovations and techniques required for high quality rejuvenation and skin care.
