Professional Biography
Dr. Martie Gidon is a dermatologist in Toronto who practices general and cosmetic dermatology. She is a lecturer in Dermatology at the University of Toronto and is President of the Toronto Dermatological Society. She is director of Gidon Aesthetics and MediSpa, where she specializes in facial rejuvenation. Dr. Gidon has been a leader in non-surgical rejuvenation procedures and was amongst the first dermatologists in Canada to use Levulan® Photodynamic Therapy, intense pulsed light treatments with Lumenis 1™ and the Thermacool TC™ by Thermage.

Specialized Training or Interest
Dr. Gidon has specialized training in laser treatment of spider veins, brown spots, and tattoo and hair removal. She has extensive experience using intense pulsed light for photorejuvenation, Levulan Photodynamic Therapy and the ThermaCool TC™ for tightening collagen. She sues various filler substances for creases, Botox Cosmetic® to smooth wrinkles and Botox Therapeutics® for hyperhidrosis.
