The slate of candidates running in 2012 is presented below in alphabetical order by board and committee position. Of note, two of the positions will be filled by acclamation this year. For more information about the candidates, click on the candidates' names. | ||||

| Secretary (2012-2014) The secretary sits on the CDA board and chairs the membership and awards committee for two years. Responsibilities include maintaining a registry of dermatologists, reviewing membership applications and award nominations, notifying members of appointments, and issuing and maintaining documents related to the business of the association. |

Ethics Committee The ethics committee provides advice on issues of ethical interest to the association and/or the profession and identifies educational materials of ethical interest to the membership. |

The number of nominations received for the 2012 election was the highest ever. This was seen across all positions. Those whose names did not make it on to the ballot either chose to withdraw their nominations or did not meet the eligibility criteria as was distributed with the Call for Nominations and as directed by the CDA Bylaws. Please complete your ballots early to ensure your choice of candidates are counted in mid-February. Results of the election will be announced on February 21st. | ||||
