Member
A dermatologist who has received either certification in dermatology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada; a diploma in dermatology from the American Board of Dermatology; or certification in dermatology accepted by the College of the province, territory or state in which he/she practises.
This level of membership includes a complimentary subscription to the Journal of Cutaneous Medicine and Surgery and the CDA Bulletin; an annual membership directory; reduced registration fee for the CDA Annual Conference; complimentary education material for your patients; and voting rights at the Annual General Meeting and in the election of officers and directors for the CDA.

Life Member
A CDA member in good standing who has either been a member for at least 30 years or has attained the age of 65 years; and practices medicine less than 400 hours per year.
This level of membership includes a complimentary copy of the CDA Bulletin; reduced registration fee for the CDA Annual Conference; complimentary education material for your patients; and voting rights at the Annual General Meeting and in the election of officers and directors for the CDA.

International Member (New)
A physician who is a qualified and practicing dermatologist in any country other than Canada and the United States.
This level of membership includes a complimentary subscription to the Journal of Cutaneous Medicine and Surgery and the CDA Bulletin. It offers a reduced registration fee for the CDA Annual Conference, however attendance at the Annual General Meeting is precluded.

Associate Member
A person who is interested in some aspect of dermatology and who can, in the determination of the board, contribute helpful knowledge to the association.
This level of membership includes a complimentary subscription to the Journal of Cutaneous Medicine and Surgery and the CDA Bulletin. It offers a reduced registration fee for the CDA Annual Conference, however attendance at the Annual General Meeting is precluded.

Honorary Member
A physician or scientist of preeminence who has contributed directly to the CDA.

Corresponding Member
A dermatologist of distinction as determined by the board.

Resident Member
Each Resident member shall be a resident in a dermatology training program in Canada or a Canadian resident in a recognized dermatology training program in another country.
This level of membership includes a complimentary copy of the Journal of Cutaneous Medicine and Surgery and the CDA Bulletin; and a reduced registration fee for the CDA Annual Conference. These members may attend the Annual General Meeting but cannot vote.
