Professional Biography
Dr. Berg completed dermatology training at Duke University in 1991. Following this, two further years of training in surgical dermatology were obtained at the University of Toronto and University of British Columbia. This time was spent in both the fields of cosmetic and skin cancer dermatologic surgery.

Dr. Berg is the former co-director of dermatologic surgery at the University of Toronto. Currently, he is director of dermatologic surgery and an associate professor of dermatology at the University of Washington. Dr Berg teaches surgical dermatology to medical students and doctors at various levels of training at the University of Washington. He is published in peer-reviewed journals and lectures on dermatologic surgery techniques at local, national and international medical meetings.

Dr Berg is involved currently in collaborative research on skin cancer and the development of virtual reality models for skin surgery.
